The Communications Section is probably the largest in the museum. The biggest item on display is a two kilowatt radio transmitter and the smallest is probably one of the specialised tool kits that were supplied with the crossbar exchange.

Items on display include radio transmitters and receivers, test instruments, electrical items, old radios and TV sets, audio equipment, telegraph equipment, Private Automatic Telephone Exchanges (PABX), a Unit Automatic Telephone Exchange (UAX), a Crossbar type telephone exchange and a range of telephones.
